Summary
From WHO, World Health Organization, nutrition can be interpreted such as food intake in relation to the dietary needs of the body. Good nutrition is a fundamental element of good health. In the animal world, food is an indispensable issue to achieve a good state of health and well -being in animals, for this reason it is essential for professionals in the veterinary world and works related to animal management to know the importance of giving quality food and adequate to their nutritional requirements.

This course in the bases of animal nutrition provides the student with the necessary knowledge about dietary and veterinary nutrition so that animals enjoy a standard of living that is characterized by their quality, regardless of whether they can suffer from some pathology. The student will be able to learn the basic knowledge of all nutrition, the main needs of animals (monogastric and polygastric), the way to achieve healthy eating, knowing how to balance the daily diet depending on their characteristics.
Who is it addressed to?
This course in animal nutrition is aimed at people who work in animal specialized establishments and that their daily work requires technical knowledge in food and nutrition. Also to people who want to achieve a degree or interested in knowing the basic principles of nutrition and their application to the feeding of animals, attending to the differentiated needs of the specimens.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
