Aquatic Physiotherapy Course (University Degree + 6 ECTS)

Aquatic physiotherapy is the application of manual physiotherapy techniques in the water, a surrounding, soft, moldable, ... that adjusts to the patient at all times, allowing work at any possible and without gravity movement angle. This new field of treatment allows you to treat countless pathologies.

- Enter the field of aquatic physiotherapy, defining its term, its benefits and its principles, as well as the indications and contraindications of the method next to the different types of water. - Identify the different techniques used in aquatic physiotherapy, different methods, as well as the different types of aquatic therapies. - Know the aquatic physiotherapy methodology during pregnancy, together with its benefits, indications and contraindications, as well as the exercises for your activity. - Define the importance of aquatic physiotherapy in the recovery of injury, as well as its objectives, effects and main advantages of applying this treatment. - Analyze the aquatic physiotherapy action exercises to treat and rehabilitate the different ailments and injuries produced in the back, on the lower train and the upper train, as well as before different diseases such as fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, ela or AME. - Identify personal safety and hygiene measures, together with the prevention of occupational hazards, first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers.

The Aquatic Physiotherapy course prepares the student to know the most important techniques when performing aquatic physiotherapy to any patient, identifying the different injuries, ailments or diseases where the different methods acquired can be applied.

It is also interesting for those physiotherapy professionals who want to specialize in the field.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
