AVSEC Course - Security Manager. Airport supplies

Both on -board provisions and airport supplies can be an opportunity to organize an attack in the field of air transport. To avoid these situations, it is necessary to carry out the implementation of systems and security controls on these products, so that threats can be counteracted. Through this AVSEC course, focused on the logistics field, students are offered the appropriate training for the workers of the designated known supplier of airport supplies, correctly apply the protection measures against illegal interference established in the current regulations, and deal with the possible situations in which the safety of civil aviation is threatened.

The AVSEC course is based on the guidelines established by Regulation (EU) No. 2015/1998 Annex 11.2.3.10, Regulation (EU) 2019/103 and, the State Air Security Agency in Airport Supplies, preparing students to correctly apply the protection measures established against acts of illegal interference. To do this, the following objectives are established: - Know the key concepts of Avsec Air Safety. - Analyze chapter 9 of the PNS about airport supplies. - Analyze the PNF F-PS Annex on known airport supplies. - Know Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 - Annex 11.2.3.10

With this AVSEC course, students will be trained to develop a professional career in the field of civil aviation, more specifically in logistics operations, as responsible for AVSEC security for known airport supplies suppliers.

Thanks to this AVSEC course you can acquire the appropriate professional knowledge and competences to carry out the obligations, responsibilities and competences that must be possessed and assumed as the entity's security in order to comply with point 11.2.3.10 of Regulation 1998/2015 of the commission of November 5, 2015 and the National Training Program for Civil Aviation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
