Biomass and water energy course

This biomass energy course and water offers specialized formation in the material. We must know that for the renewable energy area and energy efficiency it is very important to deepen and acquire the energy knowledge of biomass and water within the renewable energy sector.

- Understand the concept of "biomass" in the energy context, its scope, as well as its impact in energy, environmental and socio -economic terms. - Identify the main existing biomassical resources: origin, generating process, current uses and/or main destinations, generation and/or elimination costs, etc. - Study the main conversion processes to which they can be subjected: physical, biological and chemical (biochemical and thermochemicals). - Know the products, intermediate and finals obtained (solids, liquids and gaseous), as well as their applications (electricity generation, thermal final uses, production of biocarbons for transport, cold generation, trigeneration,…. - Analyze the regulatory framework that affects the generation of energy with biomass: thermal use, electricity generation and production of biofourors for transportation. Use of biomass, studying the viability of the different applications, as well as different associated business models, such as the so -called energy service companies, ESES.

In addition, with the realization of this course, the student will be prepared to: Understand the concept of “biomass” in the energy context, its scope, as well as its impact in energy, environmental and socio -economic terms, identify the main existing biomassical resources: origin, generating process, current uses and/or main destinations, generation and/or elimination costs, etc., study the main conversion processes to which they can be submitted: physical Biological and chemical (biochemical and thermochemicals), knowing the products, intermediate and finals obtained (solids, liquids and gaseous), as well as their applications (electricity generation, thermal final uses, production of biocarbons for transport, cold generation, trigeneration, ..., analyze the regulatory framework that affects the generation of energy with biomass: thermal use, thermal use and production of electricity Biocarbons for transport, deepen economic aspects associated with the use of biomass, studying the viability of different applications, as well as different associated business models, such as the so -called energy service companies, ESES, and visualize examples of real projects and facilities that allow the student to make an idea as complete and precise as possible of biomass as a renewable energy resource.

This online energy course of biomass and water is aimed at all those interested in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency and more specifically in the renewable energy sector and want to specialize.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
