The objectives that are intended to be achieved with this mastery in ceramics are the following: - Study the historical and cultural evolution of the artisanal elaboration of pottery and ceramics. - Apply project methodology in the development of artisanal pottery products. - Apply manual techniques of graphic representation in the development of pottery products. - Analyze the procedures for the application of drawing and color techniques. - Apply mud kneading techniques and procedures, manually and mechanically, with safety and quality criteria. - Apply the techniques of rolls and plates in the configuration of simple artisanal pottery parts, from previously prepared mud pellets, adjusting to the specified dimensions and forms, with quality and safety criteria. - Apply the modeling technique of artisanal pottery pieces by means of lathe, from previously prepared mud pellets, adjusting to the specified dimensions and shapes, with quality and safety criteria. - Apply mold conditioning processes for the reproduction of artisanal ceramic parts by casting. - Configure the space of the artisan workshop, tools, machinery and jobs, taking into account the regulations that regulate work activity and safety and hygiene at work.

He develops his artisanal activity as an independent professional in his own workshop, carrying out his own jobs, or orders for other workshops. You can also develop your trade in small or medium ceramic workshops, acting as a dependent worker in the area of production execution, carrying out their work within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by higher level technicians to theirs and coordinating small working groups.

Thanks to the Master in Ceramics you will learn everything you need to define the process of preparing artisanal pottery products, developing artisanal ceramic parts through manual modeling and organizing the professional activity of an artisanal workshop. In addition, you will know the techniques used in the reproduction of handmade parts with the use of molds.

This ceramic mastery is aimed at students and professionals in the field of arts and crafts, and more specifically those dedicated to the professional area of artisanal glass and ceramics, who are interested in expanding or updating their knowledge, as well as all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to ceramics and artisanal pottery.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
