Summary
Pain constitutes the main reason for medical consultation, erecting not only as a symptom but as its own clinical entity that requires its approach to specialized professionals. With the realization of this course, students will be provided with the knowledge necessary to properly develop a treatment to patients suffering from pain, in order to relieve or eradicate it as much as possible.

This course will instruct on the multiple facets of pain, from a theoretical-practical approach that will also allow the multiple therapies and existing techniques. The physiological and pathophysiological foundations of pain and the ways of perceiving it will be learned. The legal framework in which palliative care and home care to dependent people are also studied.

The course is aimed at all those who, either for professional issues, as well as for particular interests, want to acquire complete training in regard to pain treatment.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
