Summary
Alzheimer's disease, the most frequent cause of dementia in the elderly is a serious, degenerative disorder, produced by the gradual loss of brain neurons, whose cause is not entirely known. Although this disease has no cure, the truth is that there are several treatments that help improve the quality of life of Alzheimer's patients.
