Gender violence is a flagrant violation of human rights. According to the World Health Organization, 35% of the female population has ever suffered in their lives some kind of physical and/or sexual violence. However, gender violence is not only presented physically or sexually, but also a suffering of economic, psychological or emotional type can also occur. With the course for attention and prevention in gender violence you can know in depth this social scourge and the actions that have been designed and implemented to attend and support women victims of gender violence and raise awareness about the need for a change in the patriarchal paradigm.

- Know what gender violence and its main characteristics are. - Identify how intervention with women victims of gender violence is carried out. - Study the different action protocols that have been implemented in relation to this scourge. - Learn good practices in gender violence. - Know the different awareness and protection processes in gender violence.

With the course for attention and prevention in gender violence you can integrate into multidisciplinary teams that work in the social intervention sector and that combine efforts for the design and implementation of comprehensive actions that accompany and support women victims of gender violence and raise awareness about the scope of the problem.

With the course for attention and prevention in gender violence you can specialize in a current issue, acquiring all the necessary knowledge to know the origin and scope of gender violence and the measures that have been designed to serve women victims of this social scourge. In addition, you can participate in actions that seek to make visible the problem and raise awareness about the importance of coeducation.

The course in attention and prevention in gender violence is addressed to students and professionals of the social field who wish to expand their competences in gender violence knowing their characteristics, causes and the measures that have been designed to serve the women victims of this social scourge.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
