Summary
From psychology, human development has been defined from a global and integrative perspective, highlighting both physical and psychological, cognitive or socio -affective aspects. This course provides an overview of the evolutionary course during childhood and the actions that, since psychology, have been proposed to address the problems in the development of the infant and preteen. It enters different psychopathologies and problems arising from a personal, family or social level that affect throughout childhood and preteen. We can also say that music therapy is a theoretical and applied discipline that develops intervention models with music so that the professional can establish a help relationship with people with socio-affective needs, both in individual and group frames. The course seeks to introduce and deepen everything related to music as therapy and application in various fields, as well as offer the student learning the methods of therapeutic and educational use of music. With this course, it seeks to raise awareness that music is a tool for the playful, educational and therapeutic intervention, which opens channels of expression and communication, prevents disorders, stimulates creativity and focuses on healthy emotions to normalize the conflicting situation and stimulate learning.

This course is aimed at all those teachers of early childhood education, primary education, secondary education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree interested in performing their professional work in the teaching field. This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
