The cosmetic industry is subject to continuous improvement. For this they have a high percentage of qualified personnel, with updated and specialized training in this area. The use of cosmetic products in developed countries is increasingly widespread. The export of these products has grown 50% in the last 6 years, mainly towards France and the US, positioning itself as a powerful industry. Spain has more than 400 companies related to cosmetics and represents 0.2% of total employment. With the course in dermopharmacy and cosmetic products, it will acquire the necessary knowledge to access this promising sector through learning skin pathophysiology, type of cosmetics and manufacturing protocols of these, among others.

- Belshing with the principles of dermatology, including physiology and possible non -pathological alterations. - Know the different cosmetic forms that exist in the market and the advantages and disadvantages of each one. - Distinguish cosmetic products, as well as knowing how to choose the most appropriate according to personal characteristics. - Perform an approach to current regulations, safety measures and first aid on cosmetic products. - Know the process of manufacturing cosmetic products as well as applicable quality controls.

The upper course in dermopharmacy and cosmetic products enhances the incorporation or improvement of the student in the field of cosmetic laboratory and pharmaceutical industry, as well as in the pharmacy office. You will highlight in one of the most widespread fields in the parapharmaceutical industry, expanding your work possibilities. It is considered especially useful for pharmacists and pharmacy assistants who wish to expand their knowledge in this field.

This upper course in dermopharmacy and cosmetic products, aims to provide the student with the training necessary to develop their professional career in the field of skin care. Deepening both knowledge about cutaneous physiology and in the entire process of manufacturing cosmetic products. In addition, specific training is acquired on how to protect skin in special situations.

The upper course in dermopharmacy and cosmetic products is aimed at health, students, other professionals and those people who wish to deepen the scope of skin care in different situations, as well as know the manufacturing process and the existing regulations around cosmetic products.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
