Summary

The specialty of therapeutic pedagogy is dedicated to promoting attention and developing the prevention of specific educational support needs in students. The help to lend students must be based on nature, the degree of need and its difficulty in access to the curriculum. This course in educational attention in people with mental disabilities + therapeutic pedagogy course offers a practical and educational vision of therapeutic pedagogy and will also have the necessary knowledge for the elaboration of teaching materials that meet the different special needs of students.

Goals

- Learn the different concepts of needs that have emerged throughout the time and know how to differentiate them. - Know the identification and assessment process of educational needs. - To guide both students, family and other professionals in the educational process. - Know what types of educational response can students be offered both at the center, classroom, etc. - Knowing how to intervene with students who present specific educational support needs. - Learn the definition, etiology and classification of disability. - Know the psychoevolutive development of people with mental disabilities - Development of communication and language in people with disabilities. - Identify the special educational needs of people with mental disabilities - Evaluation of the special educational needs of people with mental disabilities.

This course of educational care in people with mental disabilities + therapeutic pedagogy course is aimed at all those university degrees and professionals in the field of education or pedagogy who are interested in obtaining necessary knowledge for educational intervention with people who suffer from a special disability or educational need or are interested in interested in the field of therapeutic pedagogy.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). Double degree: - Own title in educational care in people with mental disabilities issued by the University of Vitoria -Gasteiz accredited with 10 university credits - University degree in therapeutic pedagogy with 5 ECTS university credits with 125 hours. Scoring course as merits for access oppositions to the teaching public function in all CC. AA., According to R.D. 276/2007 of February 23 (BOE 2/3/2007). This is carried out within the permanent training plan of the Antonio de Nebrija University
