Summary
Thanks to this course in geriatric dermatology you will obtain specialized training designed to provide health professionals with knowledge and skills necessary to effectively address the specific dermatological challenges of the geriatric population. Participants will acquire an integral understanding of the most common skin diseases in older adults, as well as diagnostic, treatment and care strategies of the skin in this age group. In this course you will deal with the main most common pathophysiopathological and dermatosis alterations in this population. Aging is an inevitable biological reality, it is the consequence of complex processes of accumulated cellular and molecular damage.

This course in geriatric dermatology prepares you to effectively understand and address the specific dermatological challenges faced by older adults. It gives you the necessary knowledge and skills to perform adequate dermatological evaluations, diagnose and treat common skin diseases in the geriatric population, as well as to prevent and manage dermatological complications in this age group.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
