Summary

In the field of health, nursing has a great field of application, because professionals are highly valued and requested by hospitals, clinics, geriatric and other services both public and private. Therefore, this course provides knowledge about the basic bio-psychial-social needs of the patient, as well as the correct control of material resources and the organization of the unit/service.

Goals

This Course in Mental Health provides the student with the opportunity to acquire the professional skills necessary to: - Know the importance of the basic nursing care to understand the different psychic or toxicómanas alterations that can be observed in an individual. - Train the student to perform support work in hospitals, residences, or day centers. - He will study the work of the nursing assistant from a health perspective: wound care, replacement of the material, application of bandages, medication management techniques, etc.
