Summary
The course in nursing procedures and care to the critical patient emerges as an essential opportunity for those who seek to specialize in the integral care of patients in critical situations. In this course you will find the specific care and procedures necessary to provide high quality care for patients in critical condition. You will acquire solid knowledge about daily care, mechanical ventilation, respiratory physiotherapy techniques, UPP prevention, artificial nutrition, UCI pharmacology and management of central venous catheters. The course in nursing procedures and care to the critical patient prepares you to provide high quality care to patients in critical condition, you will acquire essential skills in mechanical ventilation, the withdrawal of this, respiratory physiotherapy, prevention of UPP, artificial nutrition and pharmacology in the environment of the UCI and specific nursing care in central venous catheters and the prevention of infections.

This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
