Summary
Thanks to this course in pediatric nutrition in nursing, specialized training in the area of human nutrition in childhood. The ability to apply evidence -based nutrition knowledge will be acquired, and as consumption can favor protective health factors against chronic non -transmissible diseases related to life and food habits. This course in pediatric nutrition in nursing is intended to provide students with fundamental knowledge in relation to the main factors involved in pediatric nutrition in nursing practice such as endocrine regulation, diabetes mellitus, child nutrition, obesity, regulation of hunger and satiety, as well as the main endocrinological emergencies in pediatrics.

This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
