Summary
The course in respiratory physiotherapy offers specialized training in the approach to the most frequent respiratory diseases in adults, senior citizens and children. Respiratory physiotherapy plays a fundamental role in the treatment and management of respiratory conditions, such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), among others. You will acquire knowledge about respiratory pathologies in adults, senior citizens and children, as well as the use of specific techniques such as oxygen therapy, ventilation and aerosoltherapy. The most effective respiratory physiotherapy techniques will be taught and the applications and contraindications of these techniques in the clinical context will be addressed.

The course in respiratory physiotherapy prepares you to effectively address the most common respiratory diseases in adults, senior citizens and children. You will learn respiratory physiotherapy techniques and acquire practical skills to evaluate and treat the pulmonary function of patients. At the end of the course, you will be prepared to work in health care teams, providing treatment with patients with respiratory diseases.

This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in physiotherapy according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the management of health professions.
