Summary
Thanks to this in progress of drug use during pregnancy you will deepen the fundamental knowledge necessary to understand the challenges and ethical considerations in the use of medicines during pregnancy. Throughout the course, you will explore the physiological changes in pregnancy and its impact on drug pharmacokinetics, as well as the methods used to evaluate the safety of medicines in pregnant women. You will also address pharmacological treatments for common and chronic diseases during pregnancy, special precautions and contraindicated medications, and the importance of effective communication and patient education emphasizes.

With this drug use course during pregnancy you will acquire solid and specialized knowledge about the use of drugs during pregnancy, which will allow you to properly understand and address the challenges and ethical considerations in pharmacotherapy during this stage. Through the course, you will develop skills to evaluate the safety of medicines, make informed and safe therapeutic decisions.

This course is aimed exclusively at health personnel according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
