Early literacy course (university degree + 2 ECTS credits)

Children spend countless hours, throughout the first stage of their life, in the school environment learning multiple concepts, for this they need as many tools as possible. Reading and writing are essential tools in the world and cognitive development of the little ones, for them it is the vehicle that will help them organize the knowledge acquired and consolidate learning. With the early literacy course you will learn to apply the literacy process in the little ones, that is, you will understand what the teaching-learning process consists of later knowing how to start starting them in literacy, a key tool that will allow them to understand the ideas of others and express themselves clearly.

- Know what are the main educational objectives. - Know the main methodological principles of the teaching-learning process. - Learn to evaluate the teaching process and know the didactic media used. - Detect what is the critical moment to start the little ones in reading. - Assimilate the factors involved in this process. - Deepen the theoretical foundations of reading animation.

At the end of this early literacy course, you can develop your professional work as a teacher, teacher, teacher, pedagogue, or any other degree related to the educational field, in schools, both public and private or concerted, obtaining the basic knowledge and tools to start them in literacy.

With the early literacy course you will obtain the essential knowledge about the teaching-learning process, the planning of the teaching process and what didactic materials use and how to evaluate this process. In addition, you will learn to develop strategies to enter the world of reading the little ones working phonological consciousness and bringing them closer to knowledge through this tool.

This early literacy course to qualified professionals and students of the educational field in any of their specialties and stages, which wishes to deepen the teaching-learning process of the first steps in readingwrite and, in particular, how to acquire tools for the animation to reading.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
