Summary
Thanks to this in progress in electrotherapy for physiotherapists you will immerse yourself in one of the most innovative techniques in physiotherapy. Electrotherapy or therapy based on electric currents is a fundamental tool for the treatment of injury and rehabilitation of patients. You will review the physics of the currents and the necessary characteristics for each electrotherapeutic treatment. You will deepen the characteristics of the different lesions that can be treated with this technique. On the other hand, you will study the benefits derived from these therapies and contraindicated patients for them. Finally, you will learn to assess an electrotherapy session and monitoring of this type of patients.

You will develop the theoretical physical knowledge necessary for the management of apparatus and the understanding of technique and its behavior about the patient.
