Environmental Management Course: MF1673_3 Safety and Environmental Protection Management in industrial binding processes

In the field of graphic arts, it is necessary to know the different fields of production management in industrial binding, within the professional area industrial binding. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to collaborate in the management of security and environmental protection in industrial binding processes.

- Interpret occupational risk and environmental protection prevention plans of graphic industry companies. Valuing their content and proposing improvements and updates. - Determine effective preventive actions linked to order, cleaning, signaling and general maintenance in graphic industry processes. - Relate the actions of evaluation and control of general and specific risks of the graphic industry process with preventive measures established in prevention plans and applicable regulations. - Apply action procedures in emergency situations, participating in evacuation work and attending first aid in case of an accident, according to the indications of given self -protection plans. - Analyze the requirements for proper environmental management in companies of the graphic industry, paper, cardboard and other graphic supports, valuing applicable environmental regulations. - Channel the information regarding training needs related to the proposal for the improvement and prevention of accidents and incidents to the company's prevention services, following the established procedures. - Apply elementary identification and evaluation techniques of occupational and environmental risks linked to working conditions that allow to assess risk factors in the different production processes of industrial binding. - Assess the requirements that the equipment, machines and facilities must meet in industrial binding workshops, analyzing security measures according to current regulations on environmental safety and protection. - Analyze work procedures in the different industrial binding processes, establishing appropriate preventive and corrective measures and the necessary individual protection equipment.

It develops its professional activity in the graphic industry, in private or public industrial binding companies. In small, medium or large companies, with very diverse organizational/ technological levels. It is integrated into a work team where it develops individual and team tasks. He performs his work as an independent technician or as an intermediate command that organizes and directs the work of a technical team in his charge, assuming collaboration functions in the management of environmental security and prevention, being able to perform, among them those of basic level of occupational risk prevention. It depends hierarchically on the Director of Production and/or the Company Manager.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1673_3 Training Module Module and Environmental Protection in the Industrial Binding Processes, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which it will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of graphic arts, specifically in production management in industrial binding, within the professional area industrial binding, and to all those people interested in acquiring necessary knowledge to collaborate in the management of safety and environmental protection in industrial binding processes.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
