Expert course in forest fire prevention and treatment

Fire control constitutes one of the pillars of current modern society. Its use and control, has evolved at the same pace that has expanded the knowledge of the mechanisms that govern its development, as well as the conditions and factors of the environment that must take place for the passage of an incipient fire to an uncontrolled fire. With this course the student will know how to prevent and treat forest fires.

- Describe the prevention tasks of forest fires and organize and supervise its realization so that the established objectives are met. - Describe the phases of forest fire prevention work, explaining its objectives and material techniques and means used during its realization. - Describe the operations carried out during the maintenance work of the forest tracks, firewalls and water points, explaining their objectives and techniques, procedures and material means used during its realization. - Presented a device, tool, material, equipment, machinery or means of those used in the work of forest fire prevention, identify it, relate it to the corresponding work, indicate and describe its parts, parts or components, explain its maintenance. Select the techniques and procedures of the work done more convenient for each work of prevention of forest fires. - Analyze the different situations of labor risk during the execution of forest fire prevention work, interpreting the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan and the Safety Plan of the Work. - Identify the negative environmental impacts that may occur during the execution of forest fire prevention work, describing the systems and techniques to minimize them and /o correct them. - Organize and control forest fire prevention operations.

This course is aimed at all professionals in the world of prevention, safety, or any person who wants to train in forest fire prevention and treatment.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
