Innovation has been historically studied from the point of view of industrial sectors and especially those in which R&D has an important specific weight. Demographic and technological changes, together with the development of a global economy, have increased the scale and complexity of service systems. This is why the sector needs qualified professionals who are able to manage human, technological or institutional networks on which the success of services rests.
