University Superior Course in Extreme Sports Instructor (University Degree + 8 ECTS Credits)

If you are interested and you are passionate about the world of extreme sports and you intend to approach the instructor figure in one of them, this is your course. The Extreme Sports Instructor Course will first provide you with a wide vision of the different types of extreme sports, their most significant characteristics, and a generic classification according to the practice of the practice. And secondly, it offers the general knowledge of the most relevant aspects related to the practice of any physical activity in an unbounded natural environment, which you must dominate to be able to program, organize and ultimately responsible for any action on any performance in this type of open environments, especially in the so -called extreme sports for its intrinsic risk component

- Know the most widespread and normalized extreme sports - Differentiate the characteristics and singularities of performance in the most widespread extreme sports - Identify cartographic projections systems. - Design action protocols in the natural environment based on the typology of the activity to be carried out - Interpret the most common weather elements and their incidence in extreme sport to be practiced - acquire elementary notions of first aid care for this type of practices for this type of practices

The work outputs of this extreme sports instructor course are a first level of theoretical training for the "control" of the natural environment of the extreme sport in question, therefore, it is the perfect complement of the instructors and/ or monitors, dedicated to this area of sport, either at the particular level, or within an official sports organization.

This extreme sports instructor course prepares you to know the uniqueness of the most common adventure sports, in its three types of medium, water, air and earth, and, fundamental in its common elements, its scope of practice and its main performance profile, as well as provides you with the basic concepts for the interpretation of the natural environment and its evaluation, which will serve you for the preparation of this type of activities.

The Extreme Sports Instructor Course is aimed at all those interested in sports and physical activity that wish to expand their specific knowledge about the control of external agents, such as orography, climatological, orientations, maps interpretations, etc., with the aim of planning and controlling extreme sports activities in a professional and safe way.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
