Summary

Training in health care for the provision of first aid, oriented in the field of action of geriatrics giving notions about geriatric syndromes, patients in the terminal state or how the administration of medications by nasographic probe is proceeded.

Goals

- Know the scope of health care in geriatrics and the application of first aid if necessary. Contribute to the student in a quick way and simple basic knowledge about anatomy and first aid in the geriatric sector. - Provide students with the necessary knowledge to develop basic first aid actions. - Recognize risk and emergency situations and adopt the most appropriate prevention and protection measures in each case.

Who is it addressed to?

The First Aid and Health Care Course in Geriatrics is aimed at both people who feel interested in the field of health, specifically for the work of the nursing assistant and wish to focus their professional life towards this field, and to all those who, being working in this field, need new knowledge in this branch, also knowing the first basic aid.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
