Summary

In the field of mechanical manufacturing, it is necessary to know the different fields of design in the naval industry, within the professional area metal constructions. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to design and prepare the technical documentation for the construction and repair of the ship, starting from preliminary projects and basic engineering instructions, complying with the specifications, regulations and quality standards, prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection.

Professional opportunities

This professional figure is fundamentally located in the design and development function of products for naval construction and repair, developing its work with a versatile character in the Basic Engineering area (or product), participating in a unit of the Technical Office, within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by higher level technicians, of which it will receive general instructions and to which it will inform. It exercises its activity in large, medium and small businesses.

To prepare you

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Certificate of Professionalism FMEC0309 Design in the Naval Industry, certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
