Thus, with this certificate it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the realization of thermal treatments in metallic products.

- Analyze the technical information of the process of a heat and thermochemical treatment, identifying the treatment properties, determining the phases, process operations, means used, the transformations that originate and the parameters to be controlled. - Analyze the verification plan of a thermochemical and thermochemical treatment process, aimed at determining the dimensions and characteristics of the treated products, based on technical information. - Analyze the control plan for the characteristics and/or results of a thermochemical and thermos, through destructive and non -destructive tests, based on technical information, and regulations. - Analyze the properties that characterize light alloys and copper alloys, determine their applications and characteristics. - Select the ferric materials by identifying the main properties to be met and know their characteristics. - Perform the preparation operations of the pieces to be treated, complying with the required technical specifications of cleaning and masking, quality standards and the regulations for prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Prepare the equipment and facilities, identifying the requirements indicated for the type of treatment, determining the implementation and realization of the regulation and verification of the control parameters, complying with the norms of prevention of occupational hazards and the environment. - Describe the different types of thermal treatments without chemical modification (tempering, revenue, annealing, normalized) and explaining the variations in the mechanical properties and characteristics that occur in them. - Perform different thermal treatments without chemical modification (tempering, setback, recovered), achieving the variations of specified properties and mechanical characteristics, applying the specifications and norms of occupational risk prevention and environment. - Describe the thermochemical treatments (cementation, nitration, cyanration, carbonitration and sulphinization), recognize the variables of the process and determine the mechanical properties and characteristics according to demands. - Perform different thermochemical treatments, from the plane of the piece, the applicable regulations, the technical specifications and the piece that must be treated, complying with the specifications and norms of prevention of occupational hazards and the environment. - Analyze the products submitted to thermal treatments evaluating the results in accordance with the technical documentation, regulations and procedures established, complying with the specifications and norms of occupational risk prevention and the environment. - Relate the auxiliary processes of thermal and superficial treatments of metal parts (feeding of parts, tools, emptying or filling of deposits, evacuation of waste, among others) with the phases, techniques and means used manual or automatic. - Operate the pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, programmable organs, among others, involved in the manipulation, transport and other operations of the thermal and superficial metal treatment processes, acting on its regulation and control elements, in personal safety conditions and environmental protection. - List the applicable regulations to auxiliary systems in surface treatments specifying them. - Adapt control programs for automatic feeding systems of parts and auxiliary operations of thermal and superficial treatments of metal parts (manipulation and cooling, fluid supply, among others). - Control the response of automated systems checking, through the necessary measurements, the work trajectories and the synchronism of movements.

It develops its activity in the area of production of metallic transforms of companies of small, medium or large size, depending in some cases of higher level technicians. In large facilities he can have operators in his charge.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the FMEH0110 Professional Treatments in mechanical manufacturing, certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
