Summary
Adolescence is a stage of life marked by important emotional, social and physiological changes. On the latter, food, it becomes special importance because the nutritional requirements, to deal with these changes, are very high and it is necessary to ensure an adequate supply of energy and nutrients to avoid departmental situations that may cause alterations and health disorders. In addition to paying special attention to nutritional aspects, it is vitally important to meet food hygiene and safety requirements, not only in the camps, but in all places where food is served directly to the consumer. For this reason, this course offers an overview of nutritional requirements in adolescence as well as measures, obligatory compliance with food security.

Who is it addressed to?
This course in food security in summer youth camps is aimed at all those professionals in the sociocultural animation sector, specifically those who exercise their functions as leisure and free time monitors in the camps, as well as any person interested in knowing the food security measures that must be implemented in the summer camps for young people, in terms of food, health and food safety.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
