Gender and disability violence course (university degree + 4 ECTS credits)

Gender violence is a social scourge that affects all societies without geographical or sociocultural distinction. This problem is aggravated when the woman, in addition, presents a disability that places her in a situation of greater vulnerability and discrimination, for being a woman and person with disabilities. According to Fundación Once, one in three women with disabilities suffers gender violence and has a four times greater risk of violence than the rest of women. - Know what gender violence and sexual violence are. - Learn to distinguish what is misogyny and some misogynistic attitudes. - Deepen gender violence and how it affects women with disabilities. - Identify the different protocols that have been designed for the attention of women victims of gender violence. - Study the regulations that have been promulgated in gender violence.

With the course in gender and disability violence you can integrate into multidisciplinary teams in the social field that work in the attention and support of women victims of gender violence and that can also be affected by some type of disability, which increases their vulnerability and risk of social exclusion.

With the course in gender and disability violence you can acquire all the knowledge, skills and skills necessary to know precisely what types of violence can occur, the different protocols of action that have been implemented to attend the collective, in addition, to know how gender violence affects the women who present a disability in a more tax.

The course in gender and disability violence is aimed at students and/or social professionals who wish to expand their competences in this area, knowing in detail the types of violence that can occur and how their consequences of aggravate in cases of women with disabilities.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
