Gender Equality Agent Course (University degree + 8 ECTS credits)

The woman throughout her history has suffered great transformations. These transformations have come hand in hand with periods of conflict and crisis in societies leading to great social revolutions. Social revolutions have occurred due to generalized discomfort in people who make up society (women and man) and the need for a change in the mentality or awareness of them, thanks to this, social changes arise that imply individual, political, economic, educational changes that have influenced the way of conceiving women and their role in society and have had to be modified through a regulations and laws that regulate them. Therefore, this course oriented to acquire positive actions, a non -sexist language, become aware of abuse and sexism, direct or indirect discrimination etc. that must be taken into account and working with it to be able to create a society based on non -discrimination and equality.

- Know what an equality plan is and how it is elaborated. - Define each of the terms used in equality and gender. - Know the current laws that regulate the equality plan to carry out adjusted planning and consistent with the current gender situation. - Pose a company diagnosis model to know what points they have to perform.

In social services, drug dependencies, gender violence, equal opportunities, immigration, family and social welfare, youth violence, organizational development and human resources, socio -labor conditions and labor market, educational policies and social intervention, etc.

The course prepares you to know in detail the ambiguity of the gender equality concept, the necessary lines to work for equality, the laws required for the process to be carried out under a legal framework and the elaboration of an equality plan, where negotiation will be a means to work in the process.

Professionals who work in the field of social intervention, with women and in men at risk of gender violence, as well as professionals who work for research, knowledge and sociological analysis of current societies. It is also focused for non -expert people interested in current evolution and panorama about gender equality.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
