GERIATY SOCIOSANITARY ATTENTION COURSE: Socio -health care for dependent people in social institutions + nursing assistant in geriatrics (double degree + 8 ECTS credits)

The main objective of this course is to train competent professionals who respond to the growing demand for specialized personnel health care, training them in the performance of socio -health care functions to dependent people in social institutions through the professional techniques necessary to carry out the care of people with special physical, psychic and social health needs, and through the contents corresponding to the Certificate of Professionalism: SSCS0208 Decree 1379/2008, of August 1, which establishes two professional certificates of the professional family Sociocultural services and the community that are included in the National Repertoire of Professional Certificates. (BOE 09-09-2008) The increase that the elderly population in Spain has been experienced in recent decades has led to the collective that forms this age stretch becomes a significant percentage within the population pyramid. - Prepare and support the interventions of attention to people and their environment in the institutional sphere indicated by the interdisciplinary team. - Develop physical care interventions aimed at dependent people in the institutional field. - Develop socio -health care interventions aimed at dependent people in the institutional sphere. - Develop psychosocial care interventions aimed at dependent people in the institutional field. -Are all the structural and functional changes that occur in aging. -Preven the disease and health disorders in an active way. -Net the most frequent diseases in the geriatric patient and know how to apply specific nursing care for each pathology. -Dar comprehensive assistance and provide progressive care of the old man.

Caregiver of dependent people in institutions. Caregiver of physical, psychic and sensory or gerocultor disabled, in socio -health care centers: residential and day centers, both in the public and private sphere.

Serve dependent people in the socio -health field in the institution where their performance takes place, applying the strategies designed by the competent interdisciplinary team and the procedures to maintain and improve their personal autonomy and their relationships with the environment. The present training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the SSCS0288 Professional Certificate to dependent persons in social institutions, certifying having exceeded the different units of competence in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They publish the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 1224/2009 of recognition of the professional competences acquired by work experience). Throughout the geriatric nursing assistant course you will learn everything that a nursing assistant should know, both action guidelines and the basic care to be carried out in different areas of geriatrics.

This course is aimed at all those who want to develop their professional activity in the social services provision sector to persons in partial, temporary or permanent permanence regime in social institutions, as well as any person, worker or student, who wishes to incorporate with total guarantee to the work world.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
