Home Help Course: Socio -health care for dependent people at home + the home help assistant (double degree)

The objectives to be achieved with the performance of this home help course are the following: - Describe the main characteristics and care needs presented by dependent people and their environment, determining the attitudes and values that the professional of direct care and relationships with dependent people and their environment must express. - Know and analyze the psychosocial characteristics and needs of dependent people, determining the attitudes and values that the professional care professional must manifest with dependent people and their environment. - Apply psychosocial support strategies adapted to the development of the activities provided in an established program. - Prepare the work plan at home, adapting intervention actions to the needs of the Coexipencial Unit. - Apply administration and control procedures of domicile expenses, prioritizing and rationalizing them, depending on the income and needs of each member of the coexistence unit. - Apply the basic cooking techniques for the elaboration of menus, depending on the characteristics of the members of the family unit. - Train the student to provide the career functions at home, and for the planning and coordination of assistance cases with the team of relevant professionals in each case, being able to identify the needs of food, hygiene and social resources, etc., of the assisted. -Domine all professional techniques to help families in general and anyone in particular in the field of home help.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the SSCS0108 Professional Certificate SSCS0108 publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 1224/2009 of recognition of the professional competences acquired by work experience). It also enables him to develop home help assistant functions in both private companies and in public bodies.

The socio -health care course for dependent people at home + the home help assistant, is aimed at all those who want to professionalize their work as home help assistants. This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
