Summary
This course in hospital food offers specialized training in the field. The food cycle, hygienic and microbiological control systems in the food company together with the legislative aspects corresponding to hospitals restoration systems. A chapter on hospital malnutrition and the assessment of nutritional status is also included. This hospital diets course, with a marked emphasis on applied aspects, collects a menus unification project, which could be applied in a middle hospital in our country, adapting the characteristics of the area, type of hospital, budgets, material and human resources, among others.

This course in hospital food prepares to know the foundations of hospital feeding, learn about the different types of nutrition (artificial, ambulatory, etc.), study the different types of food allergies and how to address them from food and learn to perform different types of hospital diets adapted to the characteristics of patients.
