HOTA0308 COURSE RECEPTION IN ACCOMMODATION (CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETE PROFESSIONALITY)

In the world of hospitality and tourism, more specifically, in relation to the fundamental aspects of accommodation, it is essential to know how to manage the reception department, according to the general planning of the accommodation establishment, developing and ensuring the correct provision of the services that are its own and the execution of commercial actions.

- Analyze the administrative processes of reservation of rooms and other services of accommodation. - Recognize different commercial communication strategies to tourism services companies for application in the marketing plan. - Develop collection and billing management processes. - Analyze the security service of lodging establishments. - Apply communication and customer service techniques and customer service in tourist establishments. - Analyze organizational and functional structures of different types of accommodation and their internal and external relations environment. - Analyze the methods for the definition of jobs and selection of appropriate personnel for housing areas and departments. - Analyze the personnel integration management function. - Analyze and use personnel management techniques applicable in departments of the accommodation area. - Evaluate the results of the data obtained during the products or services control processes of the hospitality and tourism sector. - Interpret oral messages of medium complexity in English, expressed by customers and suppliers at normal speed in the field of tourism activity, in order to provide adequate service, achieve customer satisfaction, materialize sales and exchange information with other professionals in their field.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Hota0308 Professional Certificate. Reception in accommodations certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those people whose work function is intended for hospitality and tourism, paying special attention to the reception in accommodation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
