Curriculum

Summary

Musical education has been within the Spanish education system for many years, what we will deal with in this course is to turn one more and learn to use music as an instrument for the integration of different societies. We will know the characteristics of the main musical genres of each society, as well as the instruments that articulate a certain sound to each of these genres. With this course, students will know the basic and important concepts of music education as well as learn to use them in class in a correct and functional way, learning techniques and resources for their application and knowing the evolutionary characteristics of children in different ages for better adaptation and professional work attending to great diversity.

Goals

- Analyze the role played by music education in the current education system. - Interpret the meaning of music as a tool for cultural integration. - Know the musical culture from the main civilizations of history. - Identify the characteristic features of the music of the countries with more emigration towards Spain. - Relate the origins of Spanish music with other very distant music. - Know the role of music as a transmitter of culture through generations. - Identify the most characteristic instruments of each society. - Check the typical genres and musical pieces of each country. - Start and develop musical knowledge based on the foundations of music and education and musical didactics. - Know the main musical methodologies. - Understand the musical world that surrounds us and know the main epochs, musical styles and composers. - Develop auditory and sound capacity. - Learn to value traditional musical manifestations. - Deepen the fundamental aspects of music education.

Official Character

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.

Double degree: Own course of course in musical education and interculturality issued by the University of Vitoria -Gasteiz accredited with 10 university credits - University degree in Didactics of Music for teachers and professors from the Antonio de Nebrija University with 5 ECTS university credits. Scoring course as merits for access oppositions to the teaching public function in all CC. AA., According to R.D. 276/2007 of February 23 (BOE 2/3/2007). This is carried out within the permanent training plan of the Antonio de Nebrija University
