- Study the process of human reproduction from the approach of the conception of a new being. - Study embryonic development through its stages and detect what are the critical moments in this process. - Describe the main anomalies that can be given in embryonic development and during the time of birth. - Describe the main characteristics of the healthy newborn and its basic care. - Identify the main problems, disorders and diseases that may appear in the newborn, such as low weight, prematurity, congenital malformations, metabolic and blood alternations, among others. - Develop treatments of observable pathologies in the neonate. - List and describe the main usual procedures in neonatology. - Describe the neonate nutrition procedure during the first 28 days of life. - Analyze the evolutionary development of the newborn once the first 28 days of life have been controlled. - Study the basic and specific aspects of diagnostic tests specializing in the subject. - Deepen the techniques of action on diagnostic tests to know how to act professionally. - Know the areas of health action at the level of diagnostic tests according to the most relevant factors in the development of professional activity.

This Master in Neonatology prepares you to perform basic care and attention to a newborn, either healthy or present some type of difficulty. Similarly, prepare in the formation of different pathologies that neonates can present as well as apply different procedures in the identification of these disorders during the first 28 days of the neonate's life.

This mastery is aimed at all those recently graduated in medicine or nursing who want to specialize in the care of the neonatology area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
