Local tourism products and services

At present, in the world of hospitality and tourism, it is very important to know the different local tourist promotions and information to the visitor. Therefore, with this course it is about providing the necessary knowledge for local tourism products and services.

- Evaluate the tourist potential of the local environment, based on its resources, services and infrastructure, taking into account the real and potential trends and demands of the market. - Participate in the design and improvement of local tourism products and services, providing suggestions aimed at satisfying the expectations of current and potential demand and to make resources and the offer of environmental services. - Contribute to the development, organization, control and sale of defined tourism products or services, so that they are attractive to their potential demand and can be marketed. - Manage tourism promotion acts and programs aimed at achieving the objectives set.

It develops its activity, fundamentally, in public or public-private entities whose purpose is the planning and territorial tourism development. It exercises its functions as contact personnel with the users of the service or in supervised management positions, depending on the size and complexity of the structure in which it is integrated, or for which it works from the private company.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1075_3 Training Module Local Tourism Products and Services Certifying having exceeded the different Units of Competition In it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those who are dedicated to the world of hospitality and tourism, more specifically to tourism promotion and who intend to obtain knowledge related to local tourism products and services.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
