MAMD0309 COURSE OF CARPENTRY AND FURNITURE PROJECTS (Certificate of Complete Professionalism)

In the field of wood, furniture and cork, it is necessary to know the different fields of carpentry and furniture projects, within the professional area of carpentry and furniture production. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to define and develop carpentry and furniture products and control the realization of carpentry and furniture prototypes, in occupational health conditions and apply the established quality procedures.

- Define the characteristics and specifications of the technical office of carpentry and furniture companies. - Collect the initial technical documentation and information necessary for the definition and development of a carpentry and furniture product. - Analyze the previous information used for the definition of the product in carpentry and furniture, valuing the current situation, trends and distribution of the demand for new products. - Define or modify the aesthetic-functional aspects of carpentry and furniture products to be developed, based on the information obtained in the technical office and applying the design management methodology. - Define constructive solutions for the development of carpentry and furniture elements, combining the formal and functional requirements specified in product information. - Define the components of the carpentry or furniture element for later manufacturing. - Define the manufacturing processes necessary to obtain products, establishing the sequence of operations for its construction. - Analyze and evaluate the possibilities of manufacturing carpentry and furniture products, considering the systems, processes. - Prepare the documentation that allows to develop a carpentry or furniture product in a company. - Interpret plans, breaking down the information they contain as well as the data represented in them. - Prepare the manufacturing plans of carpentry and furniture products with the concretion required by the type of manufacturing, applying representation standards. - Manage computer programs to define carpentry and furniture products and develop the plans through computer -assisted drawing techniques in 2 dimensions. - Manage computer programs to define carpentry and furniture products developing the plans in three dimensions and generate product settings designed. - Establish the criteria that make up the technical documentation of a product. - Define and organize the complementary information to the manufacturing plans necessary for the production of carpentry and furniture elements, writing and composing the precise documents. - Economically evaluate the manufacture of carpentry and furniture products, considering costs. - Interpret the technical information necessary for the control of the elaboration of a prototype in carpentry and furniture industries, and process the type documentation required for distribution. - Control the manufacture of carpentry and furniture prototypes, and raise alternative solutions to its manufacture the case that is necessary. - Analyze the tests to which the prototypes are submitted to ensure the level of quality established in the project. - Analyze occupational health and safety conditions in production in carpentry and furniture industries and develop procedures for control and prevention.

It develops its professional activity both on its own and integrated into companies, public or private, dedicated to defining and developing carpentry and furniture products and controlling the realization of carpentry and furniture prototypes, in occupational health conditions and applying established quality procedures.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MAMD0309 Professional Certificate Carpentry and furniture projects, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of wood, furniture and cork, specifically in carpentry and furniture projects, within the professional area of carpentry and furniture production, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to carpentry and furniture projects.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
