Master Fire Department: Master in Management and Coordination in Civil Protection and Emergencies for Fire Department

Carrying out a correct planning, organization, direction and control of the different security forces, especially in the case of the Fire Command, can become vital in the face of the security improvement of these professionals in the performance of their tasks. Thus, with the present Master Fire Departments are facilitated by the necessary training to effectively elaborate the action plans, organize the fire extinguishing and rescue services, improve the capacity to command and be able to correctly direct the work teams.

Among the main objectives of the Master Fire Department, we highlight the following: - Ensure the correct performance in case of emergency. - Offer the necessary knowledge to perform different first aid procedures. - Learn the contents of the Self -Protection Manual. - Determine what an emergency plan consists of. - Learn guidelines to implement an emergency plan. - Know the means that exist to prevent fires. - Learn the contents of the Self -Protection Manual. - Determine what an emergency plan consists of. - Learn guidelines to implement an emergency plan. - Know the means that exist to prevent fires. - Check emergency situations, consequences and areas of condition to facilitate the management of the emergency, the adequacy of means and resources to the situation. - Delimit the intervention areas, establishing the installation and implementation of the advanced command post to develop the coordination and emergency management operations. - Transmit intervention instructions for the management of the emergency plan, channeling the information between the different operating groups to achieve their coordination. - Coordinate and/or participate in activities of the Logistics Group in the emergency, to provide infrastructure, equipment and supplies for assistance to the population and operational groups. - Provide emergency information to the Coordination Center to facilitate its management. - Delimit the concept of catastrophe and specify the most relevant properties to consider an event as a catastrophe. - Analyze the social, economic and political effects that leads to the occurrence of a catastrophe. - Differentiate the natural, technological and anthropic risks that can cause a catastrophe, as well as attend to the vulnerability criteria of each of these risks. - Describe the activities that are considered as natural risks, according to their characteristics, genesis, danger variables and bases for estimation. - Explain and relate the activities considered as technological risks, taking into account the characteristics, genesis, danger variables and bases for their estimate. - Analyze those activities that can be considered as anthropic risks, from a perspective of Genesis, danger variables, etc. - Know the main procedures and elements when preparing a risk map. - Evaluate the damages caused by the catastrophe at the infrastructure and basic services level. - Develop rehabilitation and coordination plans within the controls of control and rehabilitation of the damage caused by the catastrophe. - Perform an assessment of damage and learn how available aids in cases of emergencies and catastrophes are managed. - Know the organization of fire extinction services. - Describe the action plans of this type of services. - Describe the planning, organization, management and control requirements that firefighters must meet to ensure that proper service is provided. - Train these first aid professionals. - Describe occupational risk prevention measures that must be fulfilled in the performance of firefighters.

The Master Fire Department is aimed at the training of the professionals of the different security forces, especially to the Fire Department and Civil Protection personnel, and to all those interested in training for the development of planning, organization, management and control of the activities carried out by these professionals.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
