Master in Autism: European Master in Autism and Psychoeducational Intervention (+30 ECTS Credits)

Autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) represent a group of symptoms that define what we are used to calling autism. The new way of referring to autism results from the knowledge we have of the wide variety of manifestations that this disorder can have, from children with intellectual abilities limited to much superior, with a lot of variability in their behaviors. It is very important to know what type of psychoeducational intervention can be carried out with this type of students and be able to put it into practice in daily life.

- Know how primary health affects autism. - Identify and evaluate a child for early detection and diagnosis. - Intervene psychoeducatively with students with students with autism. - Know the scope, the target population and the main theoretical models in early care. - Learn the basic patterns of diagnosis and intervention in children with evolutionary disorders from a broad and multidisciplinary perspective. - Intervene psychoeducatively with special education students. - Know the different tools that can be used for intervention in special education. - Know the evolution of special education in recent decades. - Know what types of educational response can students be offered both at the center, classroom, etc. - Knowing how to intervene with students who present specific educational support needs. - Know the different types of generalized developmental disorders, as well as their classification and differential diagnosis.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
