Goals

-Study the characteristics of a dental clinic and the team that integrates it. -Ak out the specific functions of a dentistry assistant within a dental team. -Skward briefly know the anatomy of the oral cavity and teeth. -Obain basic notions of pharmacology applied to dentistry. -Free an introduction to dental radiology. -Describe endodontics and periodontics. -Present the different functions of the auxiliary in children's emergencies. - Verify the dental equipment. - Performing anamnesis and oral exploration. - Apply radioprotection and quality measures in dental broadcastic. - Identify emotional attitudes and states in patients. - Plan monitoring programs and epidemiological studies. - Obtain data in epidemiological studies. - Identify oral health levels in a community. - Obtain information regarding oral health. - Implement agumental health education and promotion activities. - Apply evaluation techniques in health education programs. - Define and plan the necessary actions to apply an epidemiological follow -up program of health/disease of a population group. - List the indicators of the health level/oral disease of a community. - Plan an epidemiological monitoring program in a population and collect them data obtained. - Analyze the data obtained from the studies, formulating hypotheses about the causes and consequences of the oral alterations detected. - Analyze the structure of risk groups for the design of health intervention activities. - Study and know the maxillofacial anatomy of the human being. - Identify the main pathologies and diseases related to oral health. - Define the anesthesia and analgesia process in dental interventions. - Describe the dental surgery process for the different interventions that can be performed in the field of dental health. - Understand the basic concepts for dental radiology. - Analyze the different cases of conservative dentistry. - Enter the dental pharmacology to have basic knowledge when prescribing patients. - Identify the main characteristics of health and ergonomic control in the dental clinic.
