Master in geriatric dermatology + university degree (6 ECTS credits)

Aging is an inevitable biological reality consequence of complex processes of accumulated cellular and molecular damage that cause a progressive functional decline. An older person presents in all his organs and systems a series of changes derived from this progress, some of which directly affect the skin and related organs. Through the present Master Dermatologia Geriatrica, students are offered specialization and recycling training in relation to the main most common pathophysiopathological and dermatosis alterations in older people.

Among the objectives of the Master Dermatology geriatric we highlight: - introduce basic aspects related to the skin and its anatomy. - Differentiate the most common dermatological pathologies today. - Learn the basic characteristics that differentiate dermatitis of other inflammations in the skin. - Know what are the symptoms of benign skin growths. - Relate each of the symptoms that indicate the type of skin cancer to which we are. - Discriminate lis types of skin infections that can be found based on their symptoms. - Enter the basic aspects of dermatological treatments that are currently carried out in damaged skin. - Provide students with the necessary theoretical foundation to know in depth the concept of aging and what this process entails. -Arend and acquire the skills and skills necessary to treat a patient in geriatric regime and thus increase their quality and hospital satisfaction. - Perform the correct control of organizational aspects and material resources according to the care sphere in which it is located. - Learn the necessary knowledge of the main pathology in the old man. - Know the techniques, tools and means of evaluation in the Senectity and Prevention of the disease and promotion of health at this age. - Learn to properly understand and interpret reality in old age, attending to aspects such as nutrition and possible external variables that condition life, as their social-family aspect. - Know the basis of dermatology in older people. - Expand knowledge about cutaneous melanoma, vasculitis, herper zoster in seniors, eccema and different cutaneous manifestations of nutritional and/or metabolic alterations. - Know the main social skills to be developed in the field of health. - Learn the importance of good communication in care quality as well as the tools to get it. - Develop communicative and social skills that guarantee success in professional approach. - Classify health systems. - Acquire the referents about the documents in the health field. - Manage material resources and plan the templates. - Know the professional risks associated with clinics. - Establish the Spanish personal data protection framework and its regulatory development. - Train theoretically and practical in the professional competences necessary for compliance with the provisions of the European Regulation 2016/679 of data protection and its development regulations in the health sector. - Offer the knowledge that allows to exercise and comply with the rights that patients have in relation to their personal data. - Describe the different safety measures applicable to the files depending on the level of protection required. - Describe the different people involved in the processing of personal data, the obligations that affect them in relation to them and the consequences in case of breach.

Students who attend the Master Online Dermatologia Geriatrica will be able to perform their professional work in areas such as: Dermatology, Health, Geriatrics, Senior Residences, Day Centers, etc.

This online master dermatology geriatric makes at your disposal all the foundations of dermatology in the elderly, allowing you to expand knowledge about cutaneous melanoma, vasculitis, herpes zoster in adults, eccema and different cutaneous manifestations of nutritional and/or metabolic alterations.

The Master Dermatologia Geriatrica is aimed at all those professionals and student of the health sector and other related who wants to expand or update their knowledge about geriatric dermatology, as well as any person interested in training in this area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
