Through the present Master in obesity, all interested parties are offered a specialized training in this chronic disease, characterized by an excess of fat that in turn translates into a weight increase, which exceeds the theoretical weight motivated by the increase in adipose reserves by 15%. - Provide the student, necessary and updated knowledge about nutrition and food, as well as useful work tools, that allow to know the nutritional requirements and recommendations in different pathophysiological situations that generate obesity, so that they can be applied in the workplace. - Provide the student with the knowledge that allows them a correct approach to the obese patient. - Update the knowledge that is related to the clinic of obese patients to help improve the identification, management and decrease of complications in these patients. - Know what diet therapy and dietary intervention in pathological cases are - Learn the treatments of obesity. - Learn the classification, diagnosis and treatment of diabetes. - Know osteoporosis. - Learn the manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. - Offer the basic concepts in the field of dietary and nutrition, applied to eating disorders: anorexia, obesity, bulimia, etc. - Know the specific nutritional needs of the person with the aim of preventing or remedying eating disorders. - Offer a vision of the person's nutritional needs in pathological states. - Define nutritional needs in the different stages of life, physiological states and more common diseases on which a nutritional intervention can improve diagnosis. - Present the importance of nutritional education as a generator of healthy food guidelines. - Offer the necessary knowledge to participate in the planning of balanced menus in its energy and nutritional contribution for communities. - Know and value different eating disorders. Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and obesity. - Provide the necessary knowledge to develop an adequate food plan for people suffering from initial eating disorders that do not carry associated pathologies. - Classify food and nutrients properly. - Describe the digestion process. - Estimate individual nutritional needs. - Determine the concept of coaching and its profits. - Prevent possible risks related to the coaching process. - Plan a coaching process.

Teaching in health personnel teaching programs, restoration services personnel, consumer information centers, chronic patient associations, schools, civic centers, sports centers, etc. Positions of responsibility in collective restoration companies: schools, catering, hotels, hospitals, geriatrics, ... commercial functions in food or pharmaceutical companies, nutritionist.

The Master in obesity prepares you to acquire broad knowledge and integral referring to the field of nutrition and associated with it the causes, background, diagnosis, pharmacology and clinical, sanitary and social consequences of obesity, through updated and complete information.

The Master in Obesity is aimed at professionals, students and graduates of the healthcare field and other related, and more specifically to the field of nutrition, which wants to expand or acquire knowledge about nutrition and obesity. In addition, it is equally oriented to all those non -professionals in this sector who consider the theme of their liking or who conceives it interesting as a complement to their professional career.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
