Master in Phonoaudiology

The different areas of phonoaudiology are key to helping people establish, improve or recover the skills and functions of human communication, being key to interact with the world that surrounds them, express their sensations and ideas and optimize their social and interpersonal relationships, facilitating development in all areas of life. Thanks to this magister in phonoaudiology you will be able to deepen this discipline and specialize in different diagnostic and intervention fields such as infant-juvenile and adult communication, orofacial motor skills, swallowing, audiology and voice accompanied at all times by a great multidisciplinary team of teachers that will support you throughout your training.

- Deepen the foundations of communication and language, as well as in its particularities. - Know the basic psychological processes in relation to language. - Strengthen learning human development. - Know the nervous system, its anatomy, physiology and possible alterations. - Learn the different language, speech, voice and swallow disorders, as well as their evaluation and intervention.

At the end of this magister in speeudiology you can work in different fields such as health departments dealing with different alterations, in educational centers addressing language disorders and in the artistic field helping media professionals, singers and actors who wish to improve their voice or prevent possible conditions.

With this magister in phonoaudiology you will deepen in the different work fields of action of the phonoaudiology, you will learn to diagnose and intervene in the different pathologies of the voice, in the alterations of the functioning of the stomatognathic system, in the main difficulties of food and/or swallowing, in the alterations of communication, speaks and/or language and in the auditory impediments and/or vestibular.

This magister in phonoaudiology is aimed at graduated professionals or graduates phonoaudiologists, teachers, psychologists, occupational therapists, psychopedagogues, linguists, otolaryngologists and every professional interested in acquiring knowledge about human communication and the possible alterations that can occur.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
