Social education covers the fields of non -formal education, adult education, insertion/reintegration of people in circumstances of social disadvantage for different reasons, as well as to socio -educational action, proper. The functions of this discipline are aimed at both the defense and the development of human rights in their different evolutions. Therefore, with the present master in social education, it is about providing theoretical-practical training directly related to social education itself, as well as in its different areas of application.

- Understand the idea of social education and health as means to achieve effective changes and an improvement in the quality of life. - Provide educational agents with knowledge, resources and strategies to improve the coexistence and discipline of students, as well as provide instruments for conflict prevention and resolution. - Know the characteristics of psychoeducational intervention in behavioral alterations during childhood. - Analyze the anthropological, psychological and sociological factors of the social participation process. - Assess the possibilities of action and involvement in community projects, identifying the potential participants. - Identify and describe the intervention environment where the mediation process is carried out. - Train students to design, manage, develop and evaluate social plans and projects.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
