Master in Social Psychology

The continuous changes that our society passes are reflected and have consequences in the different groups that compose it causing them to present various types of demands and needs. From social psychology, an area of knowledge that enjoys broad historical, scientific and institutional recognition in the social sciences, are proposed to intervention and psychosocial care strategies with these groups that allow to carry out transformation actions that avoid discrimination, inequality or social exclusion. - Analyze the needs, demands and social problems actively implying the recipients. - Develop psychological and social diagnosis of the problem presented at different levels of action (individual, group and community). - Implement psychosocial intervention programs delimiting the different objectives and levels of action. - Promote problem solving, conflict management and decision -making in professional practice. - Know the psychosocial intervention models and strategies.

The Master in Social Psychology aims to prepare professionals oriented towards psychosocial intervention in the sectors of public and private administrations as well as in non -governmental organizations that work in the educational, family, health, intercultural, organizational fields ... in the same way it will allow them to integrate into multidisciplinary intervention equipment.

The Master in Social Psychology aims to provide students with specialized training that allows them to analyze and act on social reality, working and intervening with individuals, families, groups and communities in their various social contexts from a psychosocial perspective, managing the necessary resources to alleviate the problems and demands presented by the most disadvantaged groups.

The Master in Social Psychology is focused on the specialized training of professionals who participate in the different areas or areas of the social network (psychology, social work, social education, psychopedagogy, nursing, medicine and related), interested in guiding and complementing their knowledge towards the professional development of psychosocial intervention.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
