Master in socio -health care to the agency

The progressive increase in life expectancy and population aging have caused an increase in the number of older people in dependency. The dependency implies the loss of people's abilities to carry out the basic activities of daily life, to alleviate this situation, the figure of the socio -health care professional appears that through a multidisciplinary approach carries out a global care intervention. The work of socio -health care professionals will be aimed at implementing all the knowledge, resources, techniques and means at their disposal to enhance and extend the person's autonomy over time, either in the home or institutional environment.

The Master offers the fundamental tools to develop professional practice, both in the home and institutional field (senior centers or social institutions dedicated to attending the collective of dependent people) developing the necessary skills to carry out socio -health care work.

The master's degree in socisanitary attention to the agency prepares you to plan, attend, coordinate, direct and evaluate the different interventions carried out to meet those needs presented by the people who are in a dependency. It will also give you the necessary skills to manage daily activities related to the environment of the dependent person as well as meet their psycho -affective and relational needs.

Aimed at university graduates or professionals related to the scope of social intervention determined to provide a service to the group of dependent people, either independently or subject to the framework of institutions. Also aimed at professionals from other areas who are interested in developing their activity in the field of socio -health care.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
