Summary

We are currently attending the birth of digital or industrial manufacturing 4.0. The initial stage of this type of industry is the design of the product, but not only from a point of view of its operation, but integrated into the processes and the manufacturing system from the bases of concurrent engineering. In this sense, it is very important to know how to work with the different tools and technologies that make up the development of projects under this approach to collaborative engineering. The Master in Industrial Design covers these aspects and also deepens the most widespread software in this sector to develop design projects (CAD), engineering (CAE) and computer assisted manufacturing (CAM). Deepening the subsequent manufacturing with the use of technologies to facilitate the development of ulkilli, high -speed and rapid prototyped manufacturing (reverse engineering and 3D printing).

Goals

- Learn the design of design projects from the perspective of the ISO 21,500 standard: quality, costs, times, resources, etc. - Design taking into account application regulations, industrial property and R&D projects. - Know the innovations in the generation of a product in its different phases of development, such as reverse engineering, Six Sigma, etc. - Learn the main processes for mechanical manufacturing, computer assisted manufacturing (CAM) as well as 3D impression. - Develop industrial products designs with CAD Software falls as Autocad and Autodesk inventor. - Integrate design projects within the methodology of concurrent and collaborative engineering.

To prepare you

After finishing this master's degree, you can make the design of 3D products guiding it both to the manufacture (CAM) and the simulation by the finite elements method (CAE). You will also learn how to carry out project management in any field as well as integrate the design with the tools provided by concurrent and collaborative engineering.
