Within the scope of physical activity and sport, sports nursing plays a fundamental role, since it allows the athlete to offer comprehensive care that allows him to maintain an optimal state of health for sports, either at the professional or amateur level. The Master's Nursing Master intends to offer students the necessary knowledge to specialize in this professional field, therefore aimed at qualified professionals and students who are interested in expanding or updating their knowledge in it.

Among the main objectives to be achieved through the Master of Sports Enfemeria we can highlight the following: - Know the characteristics of the Oseo and Muscle System of the human body, as well as its involvement in sports. - Know the energy site in sport. - Distinguish the main psychomotor qualities and ways to develop them. - Learn the concept and prevention of sports injuries. - Know the foundations and main rehabilitation techniques. - Study fatigue in the athlete and the main recovery methods. - Acquire nutritional guidelines to take into account in sports, as well as the importance of hydration or the use of ergogenic aids. - Know the anatomy of the locomotor apparatus, attending to the bone system and the muscular system. - Describe the regional anatomy of the human body at limb level, abdomen, thorax, head and neck. - Learn the anatomy of the nervous system, respiratory system, digestive and circulatory system. - Understand the basic principles of biomechanics. - Learn the biomechanics of human march as well as the biomechanics of the human movement, both at the level of the spine and of the upper and lower limbs. - Know the scope of sports psychology. - Know the basic neurological bases necessary for movement. - Transmit the necessary knowledge to carry out psychological training planning. - Integrate the basic skills necessary to carry out the functions of the sports psychologist. - Describe the main sports injuries. - Associate each type of injury with its cause. - Determine the specific treatment for each injury described. - Prevent possible sports injuries with adequate sports training and technique. - Know the treatment of sports injuries with other alternative therapies.

Thanks to the Master of Sports Nursing, you can develop the appropriate knowledge to specialize in this nursing discipline, from human physiology and anatomy and its involvement in sports, to the main guidelines to consider when carrying out an adequate diet to it, through the prevention and treatment of sports injuries.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
