Curriculum

Summary

In the coming years we will attend a change of energy model based on the two pillars on which the master is based: the improvement of energy efficiency and the increase in the participation of renewable energy participation in the energy mix. It is a master's degree that integrates the main aspects to take into account when addressing a project from an energy point of view: the improvement of energy efficiency and the incorporation of renewable energy, well integrated into buildings and facilities for replacement of fossil sources, or for the generation of electricity and its direct injection to the network.

Goals

Students will be able to: - be able to address an energy management improvement project in a building or installation, or installation of renewable energy systems in an integral way, knowing the main technical, legal and economic aspects. - Apply the main existing technologies in the market to improve energy management in buildings, as well as those based on the use of renewable energy. - Perform technical-economic viability and analysis related to energy efficiency and renewable energies. - Know the legal and administrative aspects that affect a project based on the improvement of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy. - Calculate CO2 emissions avoided CO2 associated with fossil fuel replacement projects according to the official methodology.

Professional opportunities

To prepare you

The first block includes aspects related to energy efficiency applied to building and industry, including the part corresponding to renewable energy such as solar, geothermia or biomass that can be implemented in buildings and industries. The second block includes a technical-economic analysis of the main sources of renewable energy: solar, bioenergy and wind, among others

Who is it addressed to?

To professionals of the energy sector and the fields of engineering and architecture, students of different degrees such as engineering, environmental sciences, architecture and building, chemistry, physics, etc. Also to management personnel of energy companies and electromechanical facilities.

Official Character

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
