Summary

The realization of the Master in Intensive Care Neonatal and Pediatric Nurses responds to the need for highly trained professionals and specialized in the care of neonatal and pediatric patients in critical health situations. Intensive care in this population require a differentiated and specific approach, considering the anatomical, physiological and emotional particularities of younger patients. This program aims to train nurses with solid knowledge in specific pathological situations, including respiratory, cardiac, neurological, gastrointestinal and metabolic problems, preparing professionals to provide specialized and multidisciplinary care.

Goals

- Deepen the understanding of the most relevant neonatal and pediatric pathologies. - Study the pathophysiological and epidemiological bases of critical diseases in this population. - Learn to use advanced monitoring equipment in neonatology and pediatrics. - Acquire skills in mechanical ventilation and respiratory support in young patients. - Identify early diagnostic strategies and proper treatment for each situation. - Understand specific pharmacotherapy in neonatology and pediatrics, including doses and adverse effects.
